My Journey to Dhading

                                                      My Journey To Dhading

The day that had been imagined by every student of grade 8 of Jagat Mandir School has now become an amazing memory whose every single moment is valuable and precious. And I would love to share my adventurous and exciting experience to everyone.

As it had been decided by the school management, on the date of magh 15 2073 BS most of the students of grade 8 had to gather in the school premises. All of us gathered in school and quickly ran towards the school bus. Our journey began at 10:30 am where all of us excited to experience that unexpected feeling in a different place with new environment. To be honest, I think that most of us had experienced something beyond our imagination. It was long way ahead, we reached the camp on 3:15 pm while the way towards Dhading was also exciting as most of us sang songs, played guitar and listened many songs and music. Although many of us were feeling sick and tired, the scene had just made our tiredness and sickness disappear. The time we entered the camp, there was a moment of surprise which was easily visible on our faces. The camp was perfectly managed and the scenario was mesmerizing. We all got to enjoy near the beach. We played beach volleyball and football while some of us played in Trisuli River making sand castle till 5:10 pm. After enjoying in the beach, we took our lunch. Then, on 6 pm we went for evening walk to an amazing place where we took lots of photos and selfies. We also went through the huge bridge were all of us experienced mixed feeling. It was pretty amazing.

After that long way down, we got to remove our tiredness through some dance moves. All of a sudden, there was huge explosion of the excitement and adventure. All went to the dance floor, showcasing their dance skills. Then, we went for fire camp where our vocal skills were brought in use. There were lots of songs that were sung accompanied by excitement and jokes. We also got to have marshmallows and barbecues which made our taste buds explode. After that on 8:30 pm, we went for dinner after that we went to our tent and talked for a while. Then we went to sleep on 12 pm.

On day 2, we woke up at 5:30 am and got ready for morning walk. We all had our breakfast and then headed for the morning walk. We reached the destination on 9:30 am. And we came all the way down to our camp and reached the camp on 12:30 am and then we played the beach volleyball and football. Then on 2:15 pm we headed back to Kathmandu by bus. Most of us were tired while coming back by bus so there was silence and tiredness.  Our tour ended on 5:30 pm as we reached school. In this way, the tour that we had dreamed and waited for this whole year came to an end. This way all of the students of grade eight got new memories added to the collection of mesmerizing and unforgettable memories. I would love to relive those moments back again!!!!!

Travel Diaries

Day 1(KATHMANDU TO GORKHA & BANDIRPUR) “ Broad, wholesome, charitable views  of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all of one’s lifetime.” Every once and a while, we as an individual try & spare some time from our busy lives & let go of that wanderlust. Considering this point, we 9 th graders of Jagat Mandir Higher Secondary School would like to kindly share our small yet adventurous experiences which still hold our breaths & hold us captivated ever since 26 th Mangsir 2074(Wednesday). Early in the dawn maybe at 6:30 am we students gathered together at our school’s ground with stuffed bags & hearts full of doubts & suspense. Neither of us knew how this journey of ours will turn out but little did we knew that we would find ourselves in a different place with different attitude. After having our breakfast, at 8:30 am we rushed towards the bus capturing ours seats & 5-hours-long bus travel start...

School, place where you learn to love, laugh & live

11 years ago when I first stood in front of the gate of Jagat Mandir School, I was new to the school, the classes, teachers & classmates. As the time started to flow, I slowly became close my classmates, my seniors, my juniors & teachers with whom I created millions of small little memories which are still with me.  Now as I look back in time to 11 years of my life growing from a small, innocent & immature 5 year old kid to a young, independent & reckless 16 year old girl, I see myself going through lots of ups & downs, learning from my mistakes & living my life without any stress, care freely. It feels like a dream to find myself outside JM, at home sitting in front my desktop writing this blog about my experience at JM, remembering the memories of past 11 years. Speaking about my experience, I found JM to be more like home where you are loved but also scolded for your mistakes, a place every teenager would look for. School, a place you don’t f...
